First encountered on Alesia Colony, Species 2505 is a parasitic lifeform which exists in a transphasic state. This state renders it undetectable to the natural senses or standard transporter filters [registry updates have since been issued across the fleet to prevent further contamination by this lifeform]. Known to attach to it's victims via osmogtic tendrils, and feed from the bloodstream resulting in the degradation of cellular peptides; presented symptoms sit in three clear stages:

2. Aggressive hallucination
   

3. Unconsciousness
