The ship is reassigned to a cover strike force to assist in quick response subduement of rebellions or other signs of insurrections. The ship is a successful addition to the Task Force, carrying out multiple deployments that result in the total eradication of resistance.

The ship is once again planned to be decomissioned, but once again, Imperial needs outweigh the recommendation of Imperial Engineers. The ship is patched back together and overhauled with new active sensors, ablative armor plating and modernized weaponry. However, due to the patchwork nature of the job, command of the ship is not particularly sought after. Eventually, command falls to one of the few Xeno Captains in the Imperial Fleet, Captain Minabi Derix.
