BIOGRAPHICAL HIGHLIGHTS
Essentially a Klingon rich playgirl, B’Atar is young, rash, and ever so eager to seek honour and glory. Born to K’Leth, gin’tak of the minor House of Kator, B’Atar had enjoyed a rather privileged childhood. Growing up, B’Atar was given private combat tutoring alongside Korras, her cousin and son of Kator, leader of the house. The two being of the same age, she grew to be close friends with Korras and they entered Klingon Academy together. However, a training accident in their first year caused Korras’ premature death. This event forever changed B’Atar, making her more reckless and living each day as if it were her last. Kator was even more scarred by the incident. Convinced that it should have been B’Atar who died and not his only heir, he pressured B’Atar to marry to ‘return his son,’ as Kator’s own wife had died many years ago. K’Leth managed to reason with his brother, assuring him that as gin’tak, he would watch over the house if Kator passed away without remarrying, until a suitable replacement could be found. Unfortunately, K’Leth himself died shortly afterwards while defending Qo’noS from the Undine. B’Atar’s mother Ch’Vara was now widowed, and Kator married her. They had a son (still currently an infant) to be heir, but Kator continued to dislike B’Atar, claiming that Korras would have been twice the warrior she was. Upon graduating from Klingon Academy, B’Atar was determined to prove herself and to get away from her stepfather. She requested a posting in the remote Zenas Expanse, where her grandfather and former house leader K’Gar died honourably many years ago during the Dominion War. There, she has fought in numerous battles, gained many kills and earned several promotions. Currently, she serves as a Lieutenant under Captain Sadia but has already been granted command of a bird of prey. B'Atar flies the IKS San'leth, the parasite craft of Sadia's new flagship, the Daramar.
